AHS12 Terry Wahls, MD — Minding My Mitochondria

A Physician and MS patient found a way to slow down her MS

Abstract:
I have progressive Multiple Sclerosis and was confined to a tilt recline wheelchair. A professor of medicine, I studied the basic science literature about progressive brain diseases like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s, the nutritional requirements of the brain and the Paleo Diet.

Using what I learned, I created a modified Paleo Diet to maximize the nutrition for my mitochondria, my cells and my brain. Just 9 months after this new way of eating, I was able to bicycle 18 miles. I tell my personal story as I teach the biology of what our cells need to thrive, why a structured Paleo Diet provides the most nutrition per calorie of any diets and how to eat for maximal health of our mitochondria, our cells and our brains and bodies. My clinical trial, using the Paleo Diet, has remarkably positive results.

Terry Wahls, M.D.

The Truth About Cancer

We are at the last days of viewing these amazing eye opening  documentaries. I can only urge everyone to take the time and go to their site and watch the 9 documentaries. Ty Bollinger and his family and crew have done an outstanding job to give us this 9 hour series of information about alternative treatments for cancer which actually work and have healed many late stage cancer patients. I just bought the DVD’s to have and use for later. http://thetruthaboutcancer.com

The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest docu-series – official trailer

CANCER IS CURABLE NOW FULL DOCUMENTARY

There are so many toxins in our environment and in most consumer goods that it is really hard to live a healthy life. I do believe that we need to try harder. We need to take responsibility for our own health. Just think what changes would incur  in your life if you or a close family member is struck by cancer.

Literally from one day to the next my whole life changed. It became a full-time job to take care of my sweet man and somehow I made the time and he also had and still has to be aware every day what he puts into his body and mind. Prevention is so much easier, not always a guarantee, but still if you already have adopted much of the right way of living, it is so much easier to tighten up and add more  to your protocol when your body gets sick. Now all of a sudden you will make the time.  Why not do it before ill-health forces you too.

This video is self empowering and gives hope that not only we can beat cancer but prevent it from happening.
